Burning the night

The 21 century is awesome for so many things, but what happened to sitting around a friendly campfire chatting with friends and family?

In various past travels this is how the day ended for months on end, such a great way to end the day, cooking, eating and chatting with the warm glow on friendly faces, and the fire, there is just so much aliveness and beauty burning in the night.

So painting fire takes me back to many a pleasant hour watching the
flow n’glow of translucent flame dancing on the embers.

Fire can also be savagely dangerous, or useful, or very sweet
a candle in a dark room.

Just like the ocean
peaceful one day, treacherous the next.

Worth keeping an eye

On the fire.
