The light in your eye

 The eye of the beholder

The eye of the beholder

Ok, so there is all this electromagnetic radiation, light, streaming out of the sun, charging through space, at 300 000km/h.
Bounce bounce, Bang, it slams into the back of your eye and you get to see something.
I get to see you, you get to see me.
The light stops in the eye, goes no further,
There is a little sign ‘no light past this point’

There are NO holes in our heads-
It is dark in there -very very dark.
No light, but we see light, that’s weird

Out the window, way over there and you’ll see some far off fine detail. Somehow that far off, tiny detail- and a thousand, thousand other surrounding, moving, changing by the secondĀ things are sitting in the darkness of your head, no light,
Looking like it’s-out there- all over the place, on the other side of your face.
